Oil from the tar sands will be on the St. Lawrence River this weekend.
Enbridge will use a quarter kilometre long ship to transport it. The water is not deep enough in the area in question, so this vessel will not be able to fill to capacity and could hit the ground.
As environmentalists, we cannot afford to let such a potential disaster pass without getting up: this dirty oil from western Canada is extremely damaging to the environment.
