Internship: Communications Officer
Brief description of the function
Reporting to the General Manager, the Communications Officer is responsible for the Party's external communications, as well as coordinating media and public communications related to DMP activities and events.
Job description
- Assist in the production of press releases, statements and political texts for distribution on the website, social networks and to members by e-mail.
- Publish communications on social networks and on the party website.
- Keep up to date with Quebec political and environmental news.
- Assist in drafting petitions, letters to ministers, briefs for presentation at BAPE hearings, etc.
- Carry out in-depth investigations on topical issues.
Profile required
- Current university education in political science, communications and politics, public affairs and international relations, international studies, public management, journalism or a similar discipline.
- Basic knowledge of important issues in Quebec politics and the fundamental orientations of the Green Party of Quebec.
- Own a laptop.
- Mastery of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good research skills.
- Very good writing skills.
- Excellent command of French. (English is an asset, but not required).
Internship: Research and development of environmental and social policies
Brief description of the function
Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’une équipe restreinte de stagiaires de recherche en sciences politiques qui effectueront des recherches et compileront des informations sur les actions du gouvernement Legault depuis son élection en 2018.
Research areas:
- comprennent, sans s’y limiter, les relations avec les communautés culturelles
- l’immigration
- les politiques d’éducation et de santé
- public safety
- l’économie et la politique monétaire
- aboriginal affairs
- le logement et d’autres dossiers gouvernementaux.
Les stagiaires obtiendront une expérience pratique de la recherche politique au sein d’une organisation politique reconnue et progressiste.
Internship: Visual Arts (Environment and Social Justice)
Brief description of the function
The Green Party of Quebec is looking for artists with a passion for the environment and social justice
Job description
- Design and produce handmade event posters on various themes related to the environment, social justice and the Green Party.
- Design and produce graphics for the Green Party of Quebec's social networks
- Participate in team meetings to discuss graphic and poster design, how to represent environmental and social issues and Green Party solutions in various art projects.
Profile required
- Have a portfolio of digital and/or handmade images
- A passion for the environment and social justice
- Willing to contribute to the advancement of the Green Party of Quebec
University credit is available.
Les stages ne sont pas rémunérés et exigent 15 à 20 heures de travail par semaine. Le stage sera d’une durée de 4 mois. Il est possible d’augmenter la durée ou le nombre d’heures par semaine pour répondre aux demandes de votre institution académique ou autre.
