The leader of the Green Party of Quebec, Alex Tyrrell, and his team unveiled their 2022 election platform on July 14: The New Green Plan for Quebec. Through this ambitious program, the Green Party is committed to transforming Quebec into a more inclusive, equitable, just and green society, in order to offer our future generations a truly sustainable future. The Green Party of Quebec is more ready than ever to take its place in the public debate and help build the Quebec of tomorrow.
The unveiling of Program 2022 is the culmination of an exercise that has lasted several years, and has enabled us to deliver to the public an ambitious and rigorously documented program, made up of a bold vision and concrete proposals for our province. The New Green Plan for Quebec is made up of key priorities that are at the heart of the PVQ's demands.
"This program, developed over a period of 9 years, reflects the party's determination to take action to enrich Quebec democracy, and to highlight the extremely important issues that are too often neglected by the major political parties represented in the National Assembly. The proposals and demands included in Program 2022 have never been as important as they are today. More than ever, we need to stand up for environmental protection, socio-economic justice and inclusiveness," says Alex Tyrrell, leader of the Green Party of Quebec.
