The leader of the Green Party of Quebec, Alex Tyrrell, spoke this Wednesday in Longueuil to introduce the candidacy of Vincent Aquin-Belleau, official candidate of the Green Party for the 2022 general election, in the riding of Marie-Victorin. Together, they took a public stand on the recent 2% increase in fares throughout the Greater Montreal transportation network as part of the deployment of the second phase of the fare overhaul by the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM).

The DMP is pleased to have Vincent Aquin-Belleau on its team of dedicated candidates. Vincent is a candidate for the construction engineering profession who has a strong desire to get involved in Quebec politics and make a difference. Curious to understand how decisions are made, he wishes to strengthen his political aspirations and pose sustainable solutions that will quickly lead to an energy transition. Vincent Aquin-Belleau’s candidacy is an excellent opportunity for succession in this riding, where Alex Tyrrell ran in a by-election last April.
