Driven by a lifelong desire to contribute to the common good, Camille Jannard continues her political engagement with the Green Party of Quebec to advocate for the causes closest to her heart. She is committed to helping build a society that is more balanced, more compassionate, and more respectful of all forms of life.
Born in Ottawa, Camille grew up in Aylmer before settling in Québec, where she has spent much of her life, particularly in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhoods. In 2005, she began studying science at the Université de Montreal. Although her university studies did not lead to the completion of a degree, the experience allowed her to explore several fields of interest, including veterinary medicine. She later built a career as a sales representative and territory manager for several companies in the aesthetics industry. This fall, she will begin a new career in the insurance sector.
Already politically involved during the 2018 Quebec provincial election, Camille chose to renew her commitment to the Green Party of Quebec because she shares the values the party stands for. She believes it is essential to protect the environment while building a society that is fairer and more compassionate.
Among the issues she cares about most are animal welfare, environmental protection, homelessness, and universal access to healthcare and education. She also hopes to help develop lasting solutions to today’s social challenges while supporting the most vulnerable members of her community.
In her free time, Camille enjoys writing and caring for her animals. She is also actively involved in helping stray cats, a cause that reflects both her values and her deep commitment to animal welfare.
For Camille, every vote cast for the Green Party of Quebec demonstrates that our ideas resonate with the public, helps strengthen our voice in public debate, and contributes to the Party’s funding through Quebec’s per-vote public financing system.
