Cowsperscy - An excellent documentary. Not to be missed by any environmentalist.
The documentary shown free of charge today at the Cinéma Politica Concordia underlines the lack of willingness of major environmental groups to denounce the over-consumption of meat.
The film clearly illustrates the harmful effects of meat production on our ecosystems, our atmosphere and our health. A strong message follows to ask to limit our consumption in order to fight against climate change and the destruction of our ecosystems around the world.
Of course, the Green Party of Quebec advocates a reduction in our meat consumption and has proposed that the government set up an awareness campaign to encourage citizens to consume less meat for environmental, ethical and health reasons.
Let us take seriously the environmental consequences of the agri-food industry and the consumption of animal products. Every gesture counts.
