"For the REM, they should have chosen non-wooded land. This space is one of the only remaining wooded areas in Pointe-Claire, one of the last poles of biodiversity in the area. We're right next to a huge parking lot. They could easily have built the station there. We need public transit, but there's a way to do it sustainably," he points out. "
