Cette année marque le 3ème triste anniversaire de l’attentat perpétré contre la grande mosquée de la ville de Québec. Les événements du 29 janvier 2017 ont laissé en deuil, dans la douleur et l’incompréhension totale des familles, une communauté et une province toute entière. S’en rappeler est un devoir de mémoire.
The commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of the tragic attack in Quebec City is a duty of remembrance that brings us back to our roots.It also reminds us of the importance of tolerance, listening and living together. It also reminds us of the importance of tolerance, listening and living together.
Cette journée commémore l’importance du vivre ensemble et de l’acceptation de l’autre. Il est important que cette journée soit soulignée pour que nous soyons tous vigilants face à la haine de l’autre afin que cela ne se reproduise jamais plus.
The political class has an important role to play in the cohesion of Quebec society. Political rhetoric that makes dubious amalgams and trivializes hate speech can contribute to radicalization. All Quebecers, whatever their origins, culture or faith, must find a life in Quebec that is conducive to personal fulfillment.
