The leader of the Green Party of Quebec, Alex Tyrrell, took to the stage this Thursday in Le Village to present the candidacy of Hailey Roop, the Green Party's official candidate for the 2022 provincial election in the riding of Sainte-Marie-Saint-Jacques. Together, they took a public stand on an important issue for the Green Party of Quebec: the rights of people in the LGBTQIA2+ community. The Green Party of Quebec believes that the Quebec government must step up its fight against bullying, homophobia and transphobia. This fight begins at school, but must continue throughout our society. The PVQ is also proposing the introduction of gender-neutral bathrooms in all Quebec schools and government institutions.
