The PQ is backtracking on their promise of a moratorium on shale gas on the same day they introduce the bill to implement the Charter of « Quebec values ».
Furthermore, the Parti Québécois supports the idea of fracturing all of Anticosti Island for shale oil without taking into account the consequences on the environment and without respect for scientific facts or for the citizens who voted for them because of their position against shale gas.
The three major parties are united around hydraulic fracturing technology.
