Excellent mobilization in Sherbrooke today against the oilization of Quebec!
Students from Sherbrooke’s CEGEP succeeded in mobilizing close to a thousand people who chanted slogans out loud in the heart of downtown.
There was remarkable energy in the crowd. The holding of this march represents a pivotal moment against the TransCanada project. The company must now respond to the CEGEPers, who will now be recognized as important players in the talks on Quebec’s energy future.
People across Quebec are mobilizing and a real fight against oilization is taking shape.
