Lobbying the federal government on behalf of TransCanada is an unethical act. Using your status as a former Quebec premier to get TransCanada a meeting with the federal government is reprehensible.Conducting these efforts without being registered is illegal.
Jean Charest is accused of all of this and it comes as no surprise to those of us in Quebec who watched this man avoid and fail to answer basic questions about corruption allegations through his term in office.
