This morning I am in Chicoutimi, Saguenay to announce that I will be the Green Party of Quebec’s candidate in the April 11 by-election.
I am embarking on this campaign in order to hear what the citizens of the region have to say, to present our party’s eco-socialist platform and to prepare the ground for the next general election.
Although all Quebecers are disadvantaged by the austerity measures of Philippe Couillard’s Liberal government, I am very eager to discuss their specific concerns and local issues with the local population.
