The Trudeau Liberals have just approved a plan to export massive amounts of liquified natural gas (LNG), obtained through fracking, to Asian markets.
The controversial Petronas #LNG project is incompatible with Canada’s obligations under the Paris accord and will ensure the continuation of hydraulic fracturing and increasing GHG emissions for decades.
When it comes to the environment, this government is continuing the policies, and direction set by the conservatives.
If Canadians want to see concrete action on climate we are going to have to take to the streets.
