Excellent meeting with Shannon Chief from the Anishinaabe Nation! Shannon is deeply involved with the struggle to preserve her nation’s traditional way of life. She believes that the best way to protect the land is through teaching about language, culture and environmental stewardship.
It was a great to get the perspective of an Anishinaabe woman who is so deeply involved in her community.
