I would like to commend the work of the Quebec City police and the citizens for their actions in preventing Michael Riverin, a supporter of the extreme right in Quebec, from committing acts of mass violence against minorities in Quebec City.
After what happened at the mosque in Quebec City, the police force must remain extremely vigilant around acts of mass violence of a hateful nature.
Extreme right-wing groups are increasingly present in the media in Quebec, which gives them an over-proportionate visibility.
