Visited some of the oldest trees in Canada on Meares island near Tofino, BC earlier today!
Some of these trees are almost 2000 years old. In a world where most of the trees have been cut down several times it is incredible that these trees have survived for so long without anyone cutting them down.
It’s critically important that we protect the last few remaining old growth forests we have.
