Given the recent developments with respect to Saudi Arabia I reiterate my call on Justin Trudeau to cancel the sale of Canadian-made tanks to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is a country that literally stones homosexuals to death just for being who they are. How can a country such as Canada sell weapons to such a regime while claiming to defend human rights and the LGBTQ+ community?
The time for action is now. Justin Trudeau and the federal government need to cancel General Dynamics Land Systems Canada fifteen billion dollar contract to supply Saudi Arabia with tanks and combat vehicles NOW!
